Warranty & Protection Plan Information

 

1.GENUINE DIAMOND GUARANTEE

Harris guarantees all diamonds in our jewelry to be genuine and natural (unless stated otherwise).

2.CONFLICT FREE GUARANTEE

Harris guarantees that all diamonds or gold in our diamond jewelry are "conflict free."

3.LIFETIME DIAMOND WARRANTY

If a diamond becomes loose or is lost, Harris will remount or replace the diamond free of charge. The setting must not have been tampered with or abused in any way. One time replacement of diamonds over 1/2 carat.

4.GUARANTEE OF GOLD CONTENT

Harris guarantees that the karat content of the gold and precious metal in our diamond jewelry is as stated on your contract or receipt.

5. FREE LIFETIME CLEANING & Setting Inspection

Harris will provide a free cleaning and setting inspection of your diamond jewelry purchase for life. At any time, simply bring the jewelry item to any of our stores. Or, for your convenience, please call Customer Service at 1-800-989-7732.

6. 30 Day Return Policy for Diamond Jewelry

You can return your diamond jewelry at any time within 30 days of date of original purchase for a full refund, provided it has not been altered or damaged.

7. 90 Day EXCHANGE Policy for Diamond Jewelry

You may exchange your diamond jewelry within 90 days of purchase for another diamond jewelry item(s) of equal or greater value, provided it has not been altered or damaged. Military Appreciation Discounts may only be applied to an exchange purchase at the level, if any, used at time of the original purchase.

8. DIAMOND Jewelry Upgrade GUARANTEE

Harris will exchange your diamond jewelry for another diamond jewelry item(s) of at least one and a half times your original purchase amount at any time after 90 days of purchase. Harris will credit your account for the purchase price of the exchanged item, provided that the item exchanged has not been altered or damaged and your account is current or paid in full. Your current Military Appreciation Discount will be applied to upgraded purchases.

9. LOSS DUE TO FIRE AND/OR FLOOD

Harris will repair or replace merchandise damaged or lost due to fire or flood with a police or fire report showing the loss.

10. DEATH BENEFIT GUARANTEE

Upon notification of the unfortunate passing of the customer, Harris will cancel any remaining balance due on the account.

ALL COVERAGES APPLY ONLY TO HARRIS ACCOUNTS THAT ARE CURRENT OR PAID IN FULL.
This benefit is non-transferrable, and only covers the original purchaser or recipient.  

Additional Limitations: Items purchased under item (8.) 'Diamond Jewelry Upgrade Guarantee' cannot be returned under item (6.) '30 Day Return Policy for Diamond Jewelry.' Upgraded purchases are covered by item (7.) '90 Day Exchange Policy for Diamond Jewelry' and item (8.) 'Diamond Jewelry Upgrade Guarantee.'

WATCHES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. Please see the 3 Year Limited Warranty for Harris Watches.

Your Harris watch is warranteed for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase. This Harris warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. These defects will be repaired free of charge. In the event your watch cannot be repaired and the exact model is no longer available, a replacement watch of equal value and similar style will be supplied.

This warranty excludes normal wear and tear and/or damage resulting in abuse or water damage (except as provided by watch specifications). It does not cover free repair or replacement of batteries, cases, crystals, crowns, straps or watchbands.

With the proper care and treatment, Harris jewelry and watches are designed to give you years of enjoyment. However, we know that some service may be required. That's why we're pleased to offer you our LIFETIME Jewelry & Watch Protection Plan!

The Jewelry & Watch Protection Plan gives you peace of mind protection for As Long As You* Own Your Jewelry.

1. The following services will be COVERED at no additional charge for AS LONG AS YOU* OWN YOUR JEWELRY:

RING SIZING - Ring sizing is FREE for LIFE! Whether you have your ring sized at time of purchase, or you  need to have it sized in the future, it is included in this plan.

Chipped Stones - If you accidentally chip a stone, we will replace it. Replacement of diamonds and gemstones, if necessary, will be as close as possible to the original(s).

Setting Repair - If you accidentally damage your setting, we will repair or, if necessary, replace it. Replacement setting, if necessary, will be as close as possible to the original.

EARRING PROTECTION - If you accidentally break a post or lose an earring back, we will replace these parts.

RHODIUM PROTECTION - If necessary, Rhodium plating of white gold will be performed up to one time per year.

CHAIN & Bracelet PROTECTION - We will repair or replace at our option your Harris bracelet or chain.

Polishing, Tightening & Retipping of Prongs - We will polish the setting and straighten or tighten the prongs.

Watch Batteries - Harris will replace the battery in your watch one time per year.

Watch Bands & PINS - Harris will resize your watch band, replace pins or repair damaged clasps.

Watch Cases & Crystals - Harris will repair or replace at our option your watch case or crystal.

2. WHAT TO DO IF COVERED MERCHANDISE REQUIRES SERVICE:

Take the item to a local Harris Jewelry store for authorized service. If a Harris Jewelry store is not located near you please call 1-800-989-7732 for service options.

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

Jewelry or watches that appear to have been mistreated or intentionally damaged, have not been cared for properly, or have been altered by another jeweler are not covered. Jewelry or watches that cannot be reasonably repaired, will be replaced with an item of similar value.

This Agreement is not an insurance policy, and does not cover loss or damage resulting from theft, misuse, abuse or Act of God.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS: The terms of this Agreement start on the date of purchase. This Plan is for the benefit of the original customer or original recipient, in the case of a gift. Retail Installment Contract or Receipt will serve as proof of enrollment and to identify the merchandise covered.

If you return your jewelry or watch under our 30 Day Return Policy, the cost of the plan will be refunded. If you exchange your purchase under our 90 Day Exchange Policy (DIAMOND JEWELRY ONLY- EXCLUDES WATCHES), you will receive a credit on your account for the Protection Plan on your original purchase. You will then be required to purchase a new Protection Plan to receive coverage for your Exchange purchase.
